I saw this today on Pinterest and flashed back to my lovely mother many years ago singing in her quiet alto voice: “Que Sera Sera! Whatever will be, will be. The future’s not ours to see. Que Sera Sera…”! And I nearly cried. At nearly 54 years old, I still miss my dear mom, whom I lost when I was 26. She was a wise, sophisticated, quiet mother of 8 (I’m the baby of the fam) and wife of a hard working farmer. And I think phrase this sums up her life and offers us a lesson perhaps, in our crazy chaotic world and fast paced lives.
We can plan, set goals, have the best of intentions, build a career, find success, raise children, and try to control it all with white knuckles! But in the end, whatever will be, will be. I think the comparable modern day saying is probably “It is what it is”… And as much as I don’t like to admit it, there is truth in this statement.

Today I challenge myself and you to choose to see the good in people!
Make it a good one.
